For four years running, Gloria has been named one of Seattle's top lawyers by Seattle Magazine. She is currently serving as the Chapter 11 Plan Trustee in the Spokane Catholic Diocese case.

Gloria has been practicing bankruptcy as her exclusive practice area since 1986, after serving as judicial law clerk to a bankruptcy judge in the Western District of Washington. She works with businesses both in bankruptcy and in work-outs outside the court system. Consumers, those with tax debt as well as garden variety credit card debt, also make up a large part of Gloria's practice. She worked with a tax lawyer for several years to learn the intricacies of discharging tax debt. Death may not be avoidable, but taxes sometimes are!

Gloria was recently elected by her peers to a position on the Washington State Bar Association's Creditor-Debtor Committee and she is speaking at several seminars this year (see "News"). Gloria joined Seattle history in 2003 when she represented the ferry Kalakala in its Chapter 7.
